What to expect

Physiotherapists are first line practitioners, you do not need a referral letter to attend our first physiotherapy appointment. Physiotherapy sessions are roughly 30 to 45 minutes long. Your first session the physiotherapist will take a full medical history and ask questions related to your particular problem. Your physiotherapist will then perform a full physical examination to find a possible diagnosis thereafter you will receive treatment to assist your recovery. Please come dressed with the injured area adequately exposed. If we are unable to assist you with your issue we are able to refer you for futher investigations or to the correct health professional you need to see. It is usual for patients to be taught a little about the mechanism and causes of their problem so that they can understand the exercises they may need to carry out, and so they can help to prevent re-occurrence of their problem.

Fees

Fees are structured according to the South African Society of Physiotherapy practice codes and vary according to each condition and treatment used. We accept the medical aid schemes below, if you do not see your desired medical aid plan please feel free to contact us so that we can check if it will cover the consultation. Chest Physiotherapy

Ronel Augustyn

This is a 10 star place, yes 200%! I'm pretty sure I'm their longest standing patient, not because they wanted me, but I needed them. Specifically Nicole, best physio in the world. A journey of chronic back pain has been made bearable by her. She's just the right blend of professional, caring, invested in your overall health. Adding in very agreeable rates, the knowledge and skill that you pay for is priceless.

Annie Moyo

I have frequently struggled with chronic pain caused by bad habits, past injuries and hypermobility. I have been under the care of Nicole since 2019, and I cannot praise her enough for the exceptional support and treatment she has provided. Over these years, some have been particularly challenging for me, yet Nicole's consistent and outstanding care has been a beacon of relief and progress. Her professionalism, combined with a genuinely caring approach, made all the difference in my journey toward recovery and well-being. For anyone seeking a highly skilled and empathetic physiotherapist, I wholeheartedly recommend Nicole. Her commitment to her patients' recovery and her ability to motivate and encourage is truly commendable. Thank you, Nicole, for your unwavering support and for making such a positive impact on my health and well being! đź’š

I seen Nicole for physiotherapy sessions, which literally helped me find hope again. Lol. My back injury gave so much pain that at times I could hardly move. Nicole helped me to achieve pain free mobility and more than that, continues to help me make holistic lifestyle changes in order to keep me moving freely. Big Thanx to Nicole and physiocpt.

Michelle Britton

Nicole and her team are absolutely amazing, she is always willing to accommodate a last minute appointment and has gotten me through a badly twisted ankle and various minor aches and pains. She is highly skilled, friendly, professional and very personable.

Craig Byren

Nicole is without out a doubt, the best Physio I have ever seen (and over 40 years I've seen very many). I have referred so many people that it's become harder to get an appointment than it was in the "good old days". All referrals share my experience. She has "healing hands" and is vastly experienced in all kinds of treatment, using the most appropriate based on your condition.

Shafeeq Ganief

I recently had an amazing experience with the massage and physiotherapist at Physiocpt. Their expertise and care were outstanding. They listened to my issues and provided treatments to my needs. The sessions were transformative, relieving tension and empowering me to recover. I highly recommend them for an exceptional healing journey. Thank you to the Physiocpt Team!

Zoe Papadakis

I'm a runner but I've been struggling with an injury for years and have been to so many physios to try get it sorted sorted but after five minutes Nicole was able to give me an accurate diagnoses. After two weeks the injury I'd battle with for years was pretty much gone. She also regularly checks in to see how I'm doing. She is brilliant and extremely empathetic and genuinely cares about her patients.

Riccardo Gaffley

I was referred to Physio Cpt and I have had only positive results and a great experience not only did Nicole identify the problem but we had a plan to get back and shoulder in a better condition. The journey continues . Thank you 🙏

Ethan Hesqua

25/05What an amazing, professional, helpful and easy experience I had. I had a dry needling session with Nicole. She did the dry needling session and gave me some exercises to do after the session. I felt very comfortable the entire time. 15/02 I had a session with Geron with regard to a knee injury I had. I had gone to a previous physio for 4 sessions and that physio could not find out what was wrong. One session with Geron and he immediately knew what was wrong and strapped me up and Gave me some recovery exercises. I would recommend this place over and over again

Taheera April

Nicole helped me a lot with a neck/back injury and gave me good exercises to do. I don't get neck pain anymore. She is very knowledgeable and has a warm bedside manner.

Rushdi Hendricks

I had been having itb problems for a few years due to my running, went to different physios and nobody managed to eliminate the pain. However after only a few sessions at physioscpt I started to feel the difference. And Im happy to say that I hardly feel my itb anymore. I would recommend Nicole and Geron to anyone with any pain. They are great physios and great people.

Naziema Williams

Nicole is really great at what she does 🙂 With her healing hands, she helped me through my slipped disc 4 years ago and the advice she gives is top notch!

Courtney Februarie

Great physios, they helped me recover with my fractured collarbone, getting my range of movement to what it use to be and straight back onto the rugby field. I recommend them to anyone.

Aphelele cengimbo

This place is next to a student residential/accommodation. They start what they call 'physio' from 6 Am every morning, (but they advertised 8-18:00 here?). I'm still trynna understand why is it called physio. "It a notice nightmare ". They do not even care about students studying and trying to get rest nest door.
